If you are part of one of the groups listed, you are welcome to use the materials provided in this toolkit.

• Appropriate representatives of Labor Unions with members covered under the National Plans
• Appropriate benefits representatives within the Railroads that participate in national bargaining
• All of the benefit Partner-Vendors who administer the Railroad employees’ health and wellness benefits

• Messages within the materials of this toolkit were developed specifically for Railroad employees and their covered dependents who are covered under the National Railroad Plans.
• Please note: This toolkit is intended for Internal Use Only by railroad management personnel and elected union officials. The materials referenced within, however, may be shared with employees/members as they are part of broader employee/member communications.

• We want Railroad employees and their covered dependents to be aware of the benefits available to them, so they’re able to use them when needs arise. We want Railroad employees and their covered dependents to understand how benefits work, so they are prepared and confident in how to use them. As a result, Railroad members will be effectively using their available resources and minimizing the potential for rushed and/or costly decisions.
